Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Controller and is responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. This includes maintaining accounting records and general office duties.  




  • Assist the Controller in preparing internal financial statements and support monthly close schedule and corresponding journal entries and supporting documentation
  • Compile and analyze financial information and use this information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions
  • Assist with the preparation of annual financial plan and forecasts as required
  • Review and ensure accuracy of financial forecasting model (continual process improvements)
  • Reviews, investigates and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports
  • Collect appropriate data and prepare reports to file tax returns (sales/use)
  • Cash management responsibilities involving all checking accounts including bank reconciliation, wire transfers and cash postings
  • Act as accounts payable/receivables support by paying vendors, making vendor calls, invoicing customers and making collection calls 
  • Ensure timely, accurate completion of certain special projects including financial analysis/variance analysis
  • Ensure filing systems are maintained and up to date
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations
  • Perform monthly commission calculations
  • Credit card reconciliation
  • Ensure proper controls are in place and followed
  • Other duties as assigned




  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting 
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of accounting and financial analysis experience
  • Experience in financial analysis and/or budgeting and forecasting
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office Products
  • Experience with NetSuite
  • Prior experience in billing
  • Prior experience in sales/use tax
  • Must be meticulous with details, organized and easily adaptable to a fast, ever-changing work 
  • Ability to work independently and to exercise initiative to define and resolve problems 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities 
  • Must be able to work well within a team while maintaining a professional, respectful attitude and demeanor 
  • Strong customer service and documentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects in a busy, demanding environment 
  • Polished telephone and strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Demonstrate reliable and predictable attendance
