Director of Sales (Texas area)

The Director of Sales will be responsible for presenting our HRM solutions and services to final decision makers and end users within our prospect universe. The Director of Sales is the primary external representative of our organization and will need to convey a sense of expertise with our products and services. As a member of the Sales and Marketing Team, the Director of Sales will be accountable for meeting the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and sales goals of the company. The sales and strategic marketing activities of their team will be designed to achieve these revenue goals.

Additionally, the Director of Sales is expected to have a keen knowledge of market activity as well as competitive intelligence in the designated territory. This individual is responsible for supporting the company vision and mission.

 

Duties:

 

• Scheduling appointments and visiting potential and current referral sources, specifically the Healthcare arena to secure referrals to end users.

• Prospecting for new clients and new referral sources utilizing the telephone, direct mail, seminars, current client visits, or other local marketing programs directed by sales management.

• Analyzing the prospects' needs and interests, determining which products are appropriate for them.

• Completing and submitting accurate new business paperwork, expense reports, and weekly activity reports by agreed-upon dates set by sales management.

• Projecting a positive image in representing the Company to clients and the community.

• Achieving and continually developing technical, competitive, and sales skills knowledge.

• May be required to travel outside of geographical territory for purposes of Sales calls, attending Conference, training sessions, and/or area regional or national meetings.

• Knowledge and understanding of being able to demonstrate how software products and services serve as a solution to a client's needs.

• Maintains and prepares sales reports as required via sales automation tools and spreadsheets.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Minimum of 4-6 years of successful outside sales experience; experience in healthcare market preferred

• BS or BA degree

• Experience selling to executive levels within organizations

• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have strong time management skills

• Must be a strategic thinker; have the ability to develop and execute strategies

• Must be results-driven and have strong problem solving skills

• Must have a high standard of accountability and demonstrate a level of concern for work output; must enjoy working hard

• Ability to function as part of a team as well as independently

• Self-motivated, strong work ethic and energetic personality with exceptional telephone and selling skills

• Proven comfort with MS Office products

• Must have valid driver's license
